Everyone who knows me knows me as “the Disney guy,” or just “Disney,” because of my other books about Disney history. Growing up in the 1980s and ’90s, I enjoyed writing short fictional stories for fun, and after many years away from fiction, I decided it was finally time to return to it. One of my biggest obstacles had always been bringing the characters and world I imagined to life through illustrations. With the introduction of AI-assisted imaging, I was finally able to create the artwork needed to complete this project and bring a story to life. Since I am an avid animal lover who spent nearly two decades working at an animal shelter, caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, I wanted to make a book about animals. And here it is.
